Written Legacy
Below is a beautiful poem that Shaheem wrote before his untimely demise It’s entitled “LOVE IS.”
Love is more than a feeling and words; love is the epitome of hindsight. Its two souls coming together and
connecting as one before they ever linked in lite, it's out of sight and out of mind a true outer body experience
hypothesized optimism. 1, wholeness to one’s half and a completion of a chapter leading to an index of temporary
forever's and memorabilia. 2. love is selfish, love is selfless, to love one’s self to lead to someone else's muse as
silence feeds your soul and broadens your views. 3 it is patience, effervescent butterflies expressing a feeling of
forgiveness of flaws, doubt, scars, and guilt.
Love will sometimes be forgiving and other times unconditionally unapologetic of the beknown or unknown of
things we all know of and are prepared to expect, dismiss, and accept the unexpected and knowing nothing is
certain, but something is certain to occur. 4 love is blind, it holds nothing back while clinging on for dear life and
to remain relevant in a world full of irrelevance... 5. love is always half full with a fulfilling sense of freedom and
lingering. 6. love is undefined by words as we all continue to articulate and orchestrate with them to prove what
is foreign and supernatural to us, but yet it is embedded in all of us from the first entry in the womb, as it
continues to flourish within.... 6. from the inside it is calm as the rides sweeping across the roughness of rocks
gravel and sands. As well as a few other hard places, all the while withstanding the sands of time...7. it's
everything we have ever dreamed of, as well as nothing we could ever imagine. 8. love is she, love is I, love is
we, love is a lie that many dare speak. It's true as it can be, and love can be unique, 9. love is gentle but not so
kind, 10. Love is lost, returned, and transferred in due time, easy to lose, hard to find, 11. love is the true
definition of undefined...
